Nestled in the heart of a vast natural estate spanning more than 100 hectares, our Le Bout du Monde campsite in Verdun-en-Lauragais enjoys an extraordinary setting between the Montagne Noire, the Lauragais countryside and the Pyrénées. Here, the landscape constantly evolves as the light changes and the seasons pass. From the highest points of the estate, sweeping views stretch across the surrounding hills and forests, and on clear days, all the way to the peaks of the Pyrénées on the horizon.
This unspoilt setting makes the campsite the perfect base from which to discover the Aude at your own pace. Walking enthusiasts can make the most of the many trails that weave through the surrounding countryside, while lovers of history and heritage can set off to discover the region’s characterful villages, bastides and iconic landmarks of the Cathar country. A little further afield, the Canal du Midi provides the perfect setting for peaceful waterside walks.

The whole family will love spending their camping holiday in Revel, located in the foothills of the Cévennes mountains in Languedoc's hinterland!
The Cathar country is still marked by the Roman and Medieval periods. Discover the region's numerous castles: such as the castles in Quéribus and in Saissac…the region has a rich heritage and natural sites to visit with many treasures to discover.
Take time to visit the fortified city of Carcassonne, on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1997. Wander through the narrow streets and enjoy a drink on a café terrace. It's an ideal family excursion.
Discover the Canal du Midi by foot, bike or on the water. It was built between 1666 and 1681 to transport merchandise. Today, it is a tourist attraction and there are many exceptional sites hidden along the plane tree lined banks, interspersed with about sixty locks.
Go camping in Revel, a friendly, festive city where life is simple! In no time, you will forget daily stress. Make a stop and admire the fortified medieval town at the foot of the black mountain.
Stroll through the centre of town on Saturday morning and see one of France's most beautiful covered markets, under the arches.
